Born in Romania, Coco became a native New Yorker over four decades ago. Raised in a real estate family, she practically grew up on construction sites, spending time with her father, who managed, built, and owned homes all over the city. That, combined with her experience in a design and sales role at the Pace Collection, would prove to be excellent training for her future career—Coco has spent the past 24 years selling real estate.
She has sold coops, condos, lofts, and townhouses in most areas of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, but her dream would be to sell George Michael a live/work space in a converted church. While at The Corcoran Group, before launching The LivNY Team at Argo Residential, her outstanding sales record made Coco a consistent member of the firm’s Multi-Million-Dollar Club of top producers. She is a productive powerhouse thanks to her inner drive, her morning green juice habit, and some great advice she received when she was just starting out: the early bird gets the worm.
With a B.A. in psychology it’s no surprise Coco’s favorite aspect of selling real estate is the people. She loves developing close, long-term relationships with her clients—and she prides herself on the fact that even after the sale is complete, they value her knowledge so much that they seek out her expertise time and again for all things regarding their property. In fact, she thinks it’s the people and the energy they bring that make NYC what it is. Just don’t ask her to choose her favorite neighborhood. “Impossible,” she says. “I appreciate them all for different reasons.” On par with the thrill of selling real estate in New York, Coco loves to travel. Besides NYC (“The center of the world, period.”), she has a soft spot for London thanks to it’s old-world charm and, of course, the accents.
